Thank you for your interest in Experience Your Smokies! The application period for the 2024 Class will open Jan 2024 and will close February 20, 2024.

Please note that your selection as a class member in Experience Your Smokies requires a commitment to attend all of the program’s classes (from July through December). The sessions require all participants to be physically active, including walking across uneven and steep terrain and for up to ½ mile and streams, standing for prolonged periods of time, and participating during moderately inclement weather. There is a registration fee of $175 due upon acceptance; this fee does not include purchase of a Great Smoky Mountains National Park parking pass. Class members will need to purchase these from the National Parks directly or on their website: Fees & Passes - Great Smoky Mountains National Park (U.S. National Park Service) (nps.gov).

We welcome applications from couples, but please note that applications are assessed individually, and couples may not be selected together.
